Department of Civil Engineering

The SRES’S, Sanjvani College of Engineering, Kopargaon was established in the year 1983 and is now an autonomous institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The Department of Civil Engineering has been an integral part of the institute since its establishment.

The department is accredited by NBA four times and has achieved significant milestones with well-qualified faculty members and modern equipped laboratories. It is recognized for academic excellence under Pune University and has produced many university rank holders.

Students of the department consistently succeed in competitive examinations such as MPSC, UPSC and GATE. Apart from high quality teaching and learning, the department is actively involved in research, development and consultancy services for government and private construction agencies.

  • Autonomous curriculum under SPPU with elective and open elective choices.

POs describe what students are expected to know or be able to do by the time of graduation from the program. Engineering Graduates will be able to:

  1. Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, computing, engineering fundamentals and specialization to develop solutions for complex engineering problems.
  2. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature and analyze complex engineering problems with consideration for sustainable development.
  3. Design/Development of Solutions: Design creative solutions and develop systems/components/processes meeting public health, safety and environmental needs.
